Sfasciato (sfa cha toh), an Italian word meaning broken pieces, was inspired by the gathering of a few treasures that had somehow suffered a break, crack, or chip. Italian pottery, at its finest, is vibrant, rich with color, and lively. We take these pieces, that by themselves are scattered and useless, and give them new life in a form more beautiful than the original. A life lesson we love to share . . . many times the coming together of separate individuals creates a harmony that is far superior.

These unique pieces of art give the word mosaic a whole new meaning. Historically, small pieces of glass or tile have been laid with mortar to form a flat, smooth design. Today, we bring life to the age-old art by using hand-painted Italian pottery pieces. Brilliant colors and special pieces of interest are carefully selected to create an impressionable sensation. The 3-dimensional aspect of the pottery is preserved and enhanced by lighting and reflection.
